The youngest Master Mariner in Ukraine is Oleksiy Smolyar from Odessa. He obtained the Master Mariner`s Certificate when he was 25 years old. When he turned 26, Oleksiy went sailing in command of an ocean-going merchant ship, becoming the youngest Master Mariner in the country.
