World record
The world`s fastest speed achieved by a motorcycle carrying a rider and pillion is 301.2 km/h and was achieved by Alec Phillips, a British entrepreneur residing in Ukraine, on M01 road between Chernihiv and Kyiv on 11 September 2021. His pillion rider was Olha Fatiuk, another speed enthusiast who had earlier participated in Alec`s previous record attempts. Alec spent ages tuning his KAWASAKI ZZR 1400 to optimize power and fuel efficiency for this record. His iron friend got off easy throughout the attempt: just one blown out tire.
