Longest sausage

The longest sausage was made at Ternopil Brama Festival by Ternopil Meat Factory, it measured 547.08 m in length and weighed 200 kg.The sausage filling included ground pork, beef, salt and spices, the casing was made of lamb`s intestines adjusted together in a special machine to make it one-piece product.Eight local cooks were involved in processing. To take the measurements of the record sausage, it had to be coiled on a huge tailor-made drum.
