Largest installation of a straw deer

Straw horse? No! A giant deer was made from straw, in Sambir, Lviv Region, by the initiative of the Town Council. Its height from the hooves to the top end of the horns measured 3.65 m. The artists of the installation were Alla Lemiakina, Liliia Tykhovska and Ivan Pukalyak. The image of a deer was suggested for the installation as it is depicted on the town`s coat of arms.
