The longest distance swim under ice with the breath held is 61 metres and was achieved by Oleksiy Gutsuliak, a 38-year-old attorney from Kolomyia on 13 March 2018. The record attempt took place at the local lake in Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, without the use of swim fins or breathing equipment. The total underwater dive time was 53.6 seconds, Oleksiy is not just a swimmer, but Torpedo!
