World record
Serhiy Malyk (Ukraine), the founder of Kyiv Auto-Moto Club, broke the world record that was set 10 years ago on the legendary Harley-Davidson (650M-PBG) by reaching the speed of 116.86 km/h on his customized Dnipro-MT motorbike on Bonneville Salt Flats, USA.
That year Bonneville Speed Week also saw a new world record set by another Ukrainian, Maksym Sahdiev. He managed to reach the speed of 142 km/hr on Izh-49 (350MPS-VG) retro-motorbike and broke the previous record held by an Englishman on BSA 350.
