Dr Chumphol Krutkaew from Thailand is a long-distance runner who completed the Great Himalaya Trail in 2017. Chumphol started his Himalaya run on April 9th, 2017, participating in an ultramarathon through the Nepalese Himalayas from east to west. His running distance made up 350 kilometres but the entire distance of the trail totalled 1,760 kilometres which included trekking, walking and hiking up steep hills. Dr Chumphol Krutkaew has taken on the challenge to run and trek through 25 high mountains, finishing the race on 26th May 2017, in 154.44 hours and 48 days.
