Largest collection of souvenir plates from all sovereign countries

When Konstiantyn Symonenko from Kyiv was visiting all sovereign countries in the world to fulfill his childhood dream, he would buy a souvenir plate in each country to take a little something home to remind him of his travels later. Eventually he became the owner of the largest collection of souvenir plates from all sovereign countries — 906 unique items. A souvenir plate does not cost much, although only his wife knows what real price he has paid to bring all those original exhibits home — getting food poisoning in Burundi, suffering from allergies in Gambia, being beaten and robbed in Venezuela, or seeking shelter from bombing in Iraq.
