First monument to Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko in Republic of Turkey

Since the times of Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko, the relations between Ukraine and Turkey have changed significantly. Now in Antalya, there is a park of Ukrainian culture, featuring a carved stone plaque dedicated to the Ukrainian genius, the first one in Turkey.
