However, some people believe that no harm will be done to your body if you substitute a bit of your drinking water with iced tea or cold kvass (shandy-like non-alcoholic drink brewed from rye bread).
During Shimko Gathers Friends Festival, which took place near the capital of Belarus this summer, Semen Klyonov from Minsk emptied a 1 L bottle of kvass in just 19.33 seconds on 28 July 2018. Accordingly, not only did he set the record in speed drinking of this national beverage but he also covered а good half of his daily water requirements in one go.
